Rev Naomi welcomed to Newland - 13 September 2026
Members of both congregations of Newland United Reformed Church (URC), located at Katherine Drive, Dunstable, and Crawley Green Road, Luton, gathered for a joyful induction and welcome service for their new minister, Rev Naomi Young-Rodas. The occasion was also marked by the presence of civic representatives, ecumenical partners, and leaders from Luton’s diverse faith communities. Each of them, not only shared words of welcome and encouragement to Rev Naomi, but also offered blessings, encouragement and assurances of support to Rev Naomi as she begins her ministry at Newland URC, highlighting the importance of friendship, collaboration and mutual understanding between faith communities.

Welcome Service - 6 September 2026
On 6 September we welcomed Rev Doreen Koffie-Williams, our new Superintendent Minister,
to the Circuit. Her Welcome Service was led by Rev Dr David M Chapman the Chair of our District and was attended by representatives from local ecumenical churches, circuit staff and members of many of the circuit churches.
It was a joyous occasion when we were reminded that, although Doreen has been sent to South Bedfordshire to serve, it is incumbent upon us to work with her to grow and flourish our faith.
We look forward to working together in the coming weeks, months and years.
Circuit Service on Dunstable Downs - 19 July 2026
Our Circuit Service on Dunstable Downs (July 19 2026) was a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, thanksgiving and celebration that was shared together.
It was a special occasion as we gave thanks for the faithful ministry of Rev Claudia among us and marked her farewell. We are grateful for all she has given to the life of our churches, communities and Circuit, and it was a joy to celebrate her ministry together.

Woven Prayers
At the Downs Service last year attendees wrote individual prayers which were then woven together and displayed this year. A beautiful corporate prayer....
