Circuit Celebration

Dunstable Downs

Members of the Circuit met on Dunstable Downs to share in worship on July 9th, celebrating being in God's home and considering the concerns of those in housing need and the churches' responses. Young people built shelters out of scrap materials, the craftivist group had encouraged people to make and bring model houses to create a conurbation, postcards could be signed for the 5 MPs covered by the Circuit, and we heard powerful testimony from two refugees who have fled from places where it is not possible either to engage in Christian worship or to protest for human rights. We followed the worship by sharing food and fellowship in better-than-expected weather!
