The Olive Tree
The Olive Tree Church is a warm and welcoming church family, with a desire to be a Christian presence in the midst of what is a majority Muslim population and to serve our neighbours with love. A roughly equal mix of Baptist and Methodist members happily working together as the Olive Tree Church.
Church Minister: Rev Michael Anokye
We have two sites:
The Olive Tree, 46 Blenheim Crescent, Luton LU3 1HB
This site is used for our Sunday gatherings for worship, learning and fellowship and during the week as the base for our Community Worker’s activities and groups as well as Scout and Guide uniformed groups for all ages.
The Olive Branch, Montrose Avenue, Luton, LU3 1HT
This site is used as a community resource, with part of the building being in use during the week as a preschool nursery and part of the building by Oasis DropIn. Two Ghanaian speaking churches are glad to have this building as their home for Sunday worship and other groups.
We also use this building for special services and if requested for weddings, funerals etc – mainly of church members.
